Upcoming Womens Day Weekend Events

Join the women of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church as they celebrate Womens Day 2008. Our Women’s Day Theme this year is: “LEADERS- Dressed for the Journey” Ladies Exalting & Abiding Daily, Embracing the Resurrected Savior. Luke 12:35 “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning” NIV.

Start the weekend off with our Women’s Day Breakfast at the Chesapeake Conference Center (900 Greenbrier Circle, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320) on April 19, 2008 at 9 AM. Cost is $12.00 per person. Our Guest Speaker will be Rev. Gloria Jackson McDougle, Associate Minister, Lion of Judah Worship Center .

The weekend events continue as the women of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church celebrate our annual Women’s Day Worship Service (Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church 2201 Wingfield Ave, Chesapeake, Virginia 23324), Sunday April 20, 2008 at 10:45 AM. Our Guest Speaker Rev. Carol Brooks Truesdale, Associate Minister, First Mount Zion Baptist Church will bring the word.

Easter Sunday Service

Good Friday and Easter Sunday Worship Services

Easter is a time of family celebration: hunting eggs, unwrapping gifts, snapping photos. This year, add something both fun and meaningful to your family’s Easter. Good Friday Services began Friday March 21st at 7 PM. Immediately following service the Youth Ministry will hold a Good Friday Youth and Family Lock IN. Additional info can be found here.
